A round bauble encrusted all over in tiny pearl beads, seed beads and fine silver glitter, in a palette of ivory, champagne and pale platinum. The surface is entirely textured — no smooth glass at all — so it catches light in soft points rather than sharp reflections. Hung on a fine silver cord, it reads as jewellery for the tree.
Snow, sequins and pearl. Not a single bright colour required.
Style note — the tree: Tuck a few deep among the branches where the beadwork glows against shadow.
Style note — the table: Scatter them along a runner with tea lights so the beads pick up the flames.
On a white-and-silver tree. Layer with frosted glass, mercury silver and clear lights so the whole tree reads as texture rather than colour.
On a warm, neutral tree. Mix with brass, dried grasses and cream ribbon — the champagne tones sit beautifully against natural materials.
