Clusters of deep crimson berries along a slender branching stem, each one dusted with a fine sugared frost so the red glows through rather than sitting flat. The colour runs from cranberry to almost-burgundy, and the natural-looking stem bends where you need it. Beautifully convincing at arm's length and closer still.

Two Ways to Style It

In a tall stoneware jug on the console. Group five or six stems with bare twigs and nothing else — sculptural, seasonal and quietly beautiful.

Along a garlanded mantel. Tuck them through spruce between brass candlesticks so the frosted berries catch the candlelight.
