Our Story

Charmed House Interiors is a one-of-a-kind, locally owned furniture and home décor destination in the heart of Kansas City. Spanning three floors and over 35,000 square feet, our curated displays are beautifully set against the historic charm of our 100+ year-old building—complete with exposed brick, original beams, and hardwood floors. 

Charmed House Interiors was founded in 2012 by owner and principal designer Jenna Baechle, who was also a founding partner of the popular store, The Painted Sofa. In 2022, Charmed House Interiors took over The Painted Sofa’s location following the conclusion of that partnership. Since then, we’ve expanded our retail space and introduced a cozy, locally operated café on our first floor.
